The College of Automotive Management was formed to provide a dedicated training support structure to finance companies and auto dealers and those wishing to enter the automotive industry or finance industry at a management level. Over time, the College has developed additional curriculums and created programs to help train students for a variety of sales, administrative and management positions in the automotive, lending, RV, motorcycle, marine and aftermarket industries making the College the place to go for industry knowledge and career opportunities.

The College opened its doors in January 1992 and has expanded to several locations to serve our students and employers. The College was approved by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education (BPPVE School No. 3011571 M) in the fall of 1996. The word approved does not indicate any endorsement from the BPPVE and means the College met the minimum standards of financial responsibility and educational standards required by the BPPVE.  From 1992 to the year 2006, the College has trained and/or helped place more than 1,500 graduates in their field of study, many of which have reached their ultimate career goal in the industries we represent by becoming an owner of their own dealership, or an upper level manager.
    
     

Our Mission    

Our mission is to establish and promote long term relationships with our students, partner employers who hire CAM graduates, and our strategic partners in the industries we represent by continually identifying and satisfing their needs and wants. We want to promote repeat and referral business in all of our company's relationships and within the companies who hire CAM graduates or use CAM training for their existing employees.

To help fulfill our mission we offer training for individuals who want to enter the industries we represent or accelerate their advancement in these industries and we offer training for employers who want to improve the performance of their staff.
